Save Our High School Ski Team: Help Us Hit the Slopes Again!
Campaign Goal: $15,000
Good news everyone. We got some updated information and the budget cuts were not as deep as we anticipated. We are able to lower our goal from $25,000 to $15,000.
Dear Friends, Family, and Community Supporters,
Our high school ski team has been a source of pride, camaraderie, and growth for students at Pinedale High School for decades. From early morning practices to thrilling races, our athletes have built not just skills but lifelong memories and lessons in teamwork, perseverance, and discipline. But this season, our alpine and nordic teams are at risk of disappearing due to budget cuts that have eliminated a good chunk of our funding.
We’re reaching out to you to help us raise $25,000 to keep our ski team alive for the 2025-2026 season. This funding will cover:
• Lift Tickets: For 20 Athletes and 2 coaches $8,000 to ensure access to the slopes for practices and competitions.
• Meals: For 40 Athletes and 4 coaches $ 2,000 to provide healthy, hearty meals for athletes during travel and race days.
• Hotel Rooms: $5,000 for 40 athletes and 4 coaches, for safe, comfortable lodging during away competitions.
Without this support, many of our athletes—dedicated students who balance academics with rigorous training—won’t have the chance to compete, grow, or represent our community. Skiing isn’t just a sport; it’s a pathway to building confidence, resilience, and friendships that last a lifetime.
Every dollar counts. A $25 donation could cover a meal for an athlete, $50 could help with a lift ticket, and $100 could go toward a night’s stay at a competition. No contribution is too small, and sharing this campaign with your network can make a huge difference.
