Help Us Expand! Sunnyside Street Dog Rescue Shelter
Title:
Sunnyside Street Dogs Wishes to Expand Our Operations
Story:
Sunnyside Street Dogs is a Houston, TX based 501(c)(3) non-profit dog rescue and shelter. Our passion is focused on making a positive impact on the growing problem of homeless dogs living on the streets of Houston. We are a full-service rescue that provides community outreach to local pet owners, providing food and medicine, as well as help with veterinary services and bills.
But most importantly, we look for and take into our rescue the injured, sick, helpless and desperate dogs who just need a chance to get healthy and live and find their future home.
Most of the dogs we bring into the rescue have been injured (hit by cars, injured by others dogs and, unfortunately sometimes, people), are sick and need immediate care, or are just hungry dying with no hope.
Once in the rescue, they are fully vetted by our local veterinary partners, spayed and neutered, and given whatever medical care they need to become hopeful, happy, loving friends.
Our rescue is funded through donations, volunteers and fees for adoptions of the dogs we rescue.
Adjacent to our rescue location in the Sunnyside neighborhood of Houston, TX is a vacant lot that has just come up for sale. This Go Fund Me campaign is to raise funds to help purchase this property so that we can more than double our rescue operations to make an even larger positive impact on the street dog epidemic in Houston.
100% of the funds from this campaign will be used to for this purpose, which will allow us to expand the number of precious animals we can house as they recover before finding their forever home.
There are no t-shirts to be given away and no heart-breaking ads to be purchased. We focus 100% on providing free services for our community and the homeless dogs in our community.
Please help us help more of these wonderful, sweet, amazing animals find the love and joy they so desperately deserve.
Thank you.
