Surfing With Smiles Inc

For the past 15 years (!!!) Surfing with Smiles has been sharing the joy of surfing with individuals with intellectual, physical, sensory, and mental disabilities. Thanks to the generous support of Cinnamon Rainbows Surf Company and the dedication of our incredible volunteers, we have been able to create a positive and fun environment where our surfers can enjoy catching some waves free of charge.

What started as a small group back in 2008 has grown into something truly extraordinary. Our events now attract over 400 people, including surfers, volunteers, and spectators. However, as our event continues year after year, so does our need for support. That's where you come in!

We’re asking for donations to help us ensure our events remain free, safe, and memorable for everyone involved. Your donations will help us to provide additional beach games, enhance safety measures, offer water and snacks to our dedicated volunteers and surfers, and even distribute free Surfing with Smiles gear our attendees can take home after each event!

Every donation, no matter the size, will make a significant impact on each event.

Surfing with Timmy: Organized with love by Tommy, Bridget, Dana, Jessica, and Aaron 

Timmy passed away very suddenly in June, 2019, and is now riding the eternal wave. Timmy had a passion for surfing. He taught friends and relatives how to surf and volunteered with Surfing with Smiles, a non profit organization that gives those who may otherwise not get a chance to be out on the water, the thrill of a lifetime. It is run solely by an amazing group of volunteers, three times a summer. Surfing with Smiles is an organization near and dear to our hearts. We are fundraising in Timmy’s honor with the goal of providing scholarships for lessons and equipment rentals to assist Surfing with Smiles participants and others who may not be able to afford lessons, the opportunity to get out on the water.

 

 

This effort is in conjunction with Cinnamon Rainbows Surf Company in Hampton, where Surfing with Smiles began, and one of the biggest supporters of SWS.
