Hi, my name is Peyton Rosenbaum and I will be running the event Strut for the Cure alongside Claire Axelrod. We will be organizing a fashion show at Millburn High School in support of the Susan G Komen foundation and women with breast cancer.

I am running the Gasparilla Half Marathon in Tampa on February 23, 2025 on behalf of my sister-in-law, Natalie Jackson. Natalie is a mother of three, a wife, a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a best friend, and now a fighter.

Natalie began treatment for Stage 2 breast cancer in October 2024. All funds raised will be donated directly to the Susan G. Komen foundation for breast cancer research on behalf of Natalie.

My longest organized run was a 5k, so this will be a big challenge for me. I will be encouraged, strengthened, and inspired by Nat and your donations every step of the way.

What will a group of bored college girls do over the summer? Run a 5k through the Presidio, of course (wearing pink-duhh)! We are excited to train all over the world until the race in SF on 6/22 to run for one cause! As women, we understand the importance of keeping in good health, as rates for diseases such as breast cancer are on the rise. All of us have personally known or heard of someone battling this terrible disease, and we want to raise money to spread awareness for early screenings, scientific research, and getting affordable care if diagnosed. The Columbia High School Fine Arts Department is dedicated to joining the fight against breast cancer in honor of long-time parent and supporter Tami Johnson. CHS Fine Arts Department will make a donation to the Susan G. Komen foundation in Tami's honor as we dedicate our 2025 show to Tami. Please join us in our campaign!

My name is Jess, and I am participating in the Susan G. Komen 3-day Walk to support the breast cancer community. I hope to spread awareness, raise funds, and make any positive impact that I can. This will be the first event like this that I have been a part of, and I look forward to coming together with all the wonderful people taking part.

My mom died from breast cancer in 2015 when I was 7. So, to take back revenge, I want to raise $100,000 for people with breast cancer while challenging myself to do 1 million pushups during the year 2025 (yes, all in one year) and documenting every single day of my journey on YouTube.

This would be the hardest thing I've ever done if I can pull it off.

Northwestern University and the University of Washington’s Pokémon clubs will cohost a Pokémon Showdown video game tournament to raise funds for Susan G. Komen for the Cure October 25-27, 2024. This fundraiser is in memory of Rachael Lillis. Lillis, an actress who voiced many iconic characters in the Pokémon Anime from 1998 to 2006, who fought a valiant battle against breast cancer until she passed on August 10, 2024.

There are two ways to support this great fundraiser (Competing Trainers, see number 2).

1. For Those Looking to Support the Cause:

We appreciate your support! 100% of donated money will donated in full to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

2. For Competing Trainers:

If you are competing, the minimum donation to participate is $5, with an upcharge of $1 if you use a rental team. As Rachael did her best voice work in the mid-2000s, this tournament will be in the Gen 3 OU format. Any collegiate player can enter with alumni eligible up to two years removed.

Your team has chosen to represent and partner with the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation for the Trevor Futsal Charity Classic!

On Friday, November 8th Calhoun GVS will compete in a futsal (indoor soccer) tournament for the Trevor Futsal Charity Classic. Calhoun will compete against Trevor, LREI, Loyola, and UNIS to raise the most money for your charity and, of course, win the tournament itself!

My name is Don Lowdermilk and I am raising money for the fight against breast cancer. This is an issue very close to our family as my Mom is a 2 time survivor and we have friends and family members who have endured this fight.

Every 46 seconds, somewhere in the world, someone dies from breast cancer. That's a pretty startling statistic. No one should have to face this disease, so to create a future without breast cancer, I am walking in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day.

It's a 60-mile walk over the course of three days that raises funds for vital breast cancer research and much-needed community programs. Last time, I had an incredible experience participating in this event. I raised $437 to date and need to get to $2,300.

Having both family and friends endure this fight, this cause is dear to my heart.

Walking 60 miles was hard, but it is not as hard as breast cancer.
