The recent Hurricane Milton has left many in Tampa devastated. Families have lost their homes, belongings, and sense of security. A lot of them are without power.

Tamil Sneham, a 501(c)(3) local nonprofit organization, is coordinating relief efforts to support our fellow friends and families who have become victims of Milton. Tamil Sneham has been serving the local Tampa community for more than 15 years. In the past, Tamil Sneham coordinated relief efforts for Hurricane Irma and COVID, and raised funds for many natural disaster relief efforts. Its objective is to coordinate local community volunteers so that the benefits reach those affected. Its strength is its numerous supporters who volunteer with compassion and dedication. Tamil Sneham is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, ensuring full accountability. We provide you with a tax receipt for all contributions made through Sneham.

Your generous donations will help provide essential relief efforts, including:

* Food and water: Providing meals, snacks, and clean drinking water to those affected.

* Shelter: Assisting with temporary housing and repairs for damaged homes.

* Medical supplies: Providing essential medical supplies and healthcare services.

* Other necessities: Supporting families with clothing, blankets, and other essential items.

Update #1: Sneham donated around 250 meals for those affected on 10/12/2024. The next drive is to purchase basic household items, perishable and non-perishable food from wholesale and deliver to the needy in Sarasota, Tampa, St Pete on 10/27th (tentatively). We welcome local donators to participate in our efforts.
