Save Our Vets
Hello everybody, my name is Jay Jhaver, and I am the president and founder of the nonprofit organization, Teens4Vets. Today in Arizona, thousands of our veterans are left on the streets, homeless and hungry. Those who fought valiantly for our country should not be left outside in 110-degree weather, without a home, wondering when their next meal will be. Our society is slowly forgetting about those who risked their lives to defend our country. Often times these veterans have underlying medical conditions, such as PTSD and other conditions that reduce their chances of getting a stable job and finding somewhere to live. Teens4Vets is a 100 percent not-for-profit organization that aims to aid these veterans in a multitude of ways. Through working with US Vets and other organizations like Habitat for Humanity, Teens4Vets will use these funds to plan events for these veterans such as bingo and barbecue nights, as well as coordinating food drives that these veterans are in desperate need of. We also focus on engaging with these veterans in a fun atmosphere such as playing board games with them or simply just talking with them as the mental health of these veterans is very important. Any donation would be greatly appreciated. You will have an impact on these veterans' lives. It is time to stop ignoring this issue plaguing our country's heroes.
