Help Texas Through Time move to a new building!
Texas Through Time is a 501c3 Nonprofit museum of paleontology located in downtown Hillsboro, Texas dedicated to preserving and displaying Texas' diverse fossil record. In just 4 short years, we have outgrown our current building at 110 N. Waco St. and have found the perfect home to move into- a large permanent facility that we can grow into for decades to come!
We have officially closed on the historic Junior College building and are beginning the first phases of projects and renovations.
This 40,000 square foot building will give us room to house our current exhibits, collections, a large children's museum wing, many different exhibit halls, event rooms, office spaces and a very large prep lab for fossil preparation and research, as well as having room for large animatronic dinosaurs and interactive exhibits in the future, all under one roof! Making this historic structure our new home will greatly increase awareness, research opportunities and the legacy of Texas paleontology.
We are asking for donations for conducting a feasibility study, drafting architectural drawings, environmental study and the first phase of demolition and general expenses.
This is a Texas-sized project which will make a huge impact. By donating, you are investing in the future of Texas paleontology and a legacy that will stand the test of time.
