The Caribbean American Society of New York (CASONY) promotes and encourages unity among those with Caribbean heritage. CASONY seeks to improve the social, educational, and economic status of our people both in New York state and abroad through activism, charitable giving, cultural events and educational initiatives. In so doing, the organization strives to ensure members not only realize their full potential, but also remain cognizant of the challenges and opportunities present throughout the Caribbean.

Our STEAAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Athletics, Math) program provides mentorship, scholarship and encouragement to students, especially those interested in pursuing careers in science, technology, engineering and math; offer parents and families assistance in understanding and navigating New York’s specialized high school selection process.
