Tuleeni Children's Home is fundraising
SUPPORT OUR TULEENI ORPHANS
OUR STORY:
Tuleeni Orphans home was established in 2006 in Moshi village (Tanzania) located in the slopes of Kilimanjaro by Mama Flaria Faraji after noticing a high increase on the number of abandoned children in our streets.
Tuleeni in Swahili language means “care for us” and reflects the spirit of this foundation since its early days.
OUR MISSION:
We are a proud team comprising of Tanzanian teachers, international volunteers and supportive staff whose aim is to provide to orphans and children in need a safe environment that they can call as home.
Currently Tuleeni supports over 100 children (aged from 2 to 18 years old) in terms of Education, Lodging, sustenance and medical care.
CHALLENGES:
Our social responsibility is to preserve stability while creating more opportunities for the kids of tomorrow.
Yet, we are presented with multiple daily challenges for which we ask your support on:
** Educational material
- School fees (100$ per child for a year)
- Stationary, books, blackboards, desks…
** Clothing shoes, winter clothes, bed sheets. . . (25$ per child for a year)
** Nutrition by integrating healthier food options such as fruits, vegetables, bread, fish . . . (800$ per month for rice, beans, sugar, cooking oil . . .)
** Lack of running water
** Medical expenses hospital, checkup and other emergencies (Heath insurance: 50$ per year and per child)
** Sanitary products (soap, hand sanitizer…)
YOUR ROLE:
We understand the current circumstances of the pandemic and how much it has impacted our living.
The orphanage mainly sponsored by international contributors is now facing the same harsh reality and as a consequence the decrease in our financial resources.
Therefore we kindly ask for your active participation in achieving our goals and shaping a better future for our children.
We rely on your support!!
