Make-A-Wish Foundation Greater Bay Area

For the past few years, we have been volunteering with Make-A-Wish as a part of their Youth Board. Make-a-Wish is a wonderful non-profit organization dedicated to granting life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. Our experience with them has been incredibly fulfilling, and we have witnessed firsthand the joy and hope they bring to children and their families. Make-A-Wish relies heavily on donations to make these dreams come true, and every contribution, no matter how small, makes a significant difference. Since we have seen the impact of their work up close, we are passionate about supporting this cause and helping as many children as possible.

We want to make sure the Rooted Box Truck stays where it belongs, in our community and amongst the fans of Oakland. We hope proceeds from the auction are going to make a wish and we want to ensure the foundation gets as much money as possible and fulfills as many wishes as possible.

More information about Make-A-Wish Foundation Greater Bay Area: Make-A-Wish Greater Bay Area is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that fulfills the wishes of children between the ages of 2 1/2 and 18 battling life-threatening medical conditions. Make-A-Wish Greater Bay Area was founded in 1984. In its first year, a total of 27 wishes were granted. Now one of the largest chapters nationwide, we have granted more than 8,000 wishes to date and grant more than 400 wishes per year.
