Hello! Roberto and Amy Lynn here! We live at the Hope Alliance For Animals Inc, rescue and sanctuary here in Killingworth. All the kitties here have disabilities and/or special needs like us! Some also need hospice care. Once we arrive here, our Momma Lisa provides long term lifetime care! So we never have to worry about anything again!! Momma also runs a program called Blessings From Efren. It's in honor and memory of Dr. Efren Osorio who was like a brother to Momma as well as our Veterinarian for nearly 30 years. Through that program, people who are unhoused and/or those who are housed but very low income, get food & supplies for their companion animals! Of course all this requires donations to continue. So we are asking each of you to please make a small donation this holiday season!! No amount is too small! Imagine if each person seeing this donated 5.00! That would be great! Hi everyone! Mateo here! For those that don't know my story, here goes! I was found abandoned in a park, after someone poured chemicals on my leg & left me to die. Yes it is true! The pain & burning was horrific. Once I was found I stayed for awhile in the hospital & then I went to a foster home. But that rescue organization really didn't have the experience with this type of injury so they sought out my Momma Lisa's sanctuary The Hope Alliance & asked if I could come live here! I love it here even though my nickname is Mischievous Mateo! Recently I had to have 12 teeth extracted & a cleaning of the rest of them! My bill, not including the xrays & bloodwork was $714.61. The Hope Alliance is basically just my Momma. She has to do everything, including paying the bills! We could really use your help! If every person gave a little bit, I know we could ease the anxiety Momma is having over all the recent vet bills. So please, maybe won't you skip a snack or a coffee & help us instead. I mean, look at my cute face! How can you say no to that? Thank you everyone!

Hi! My name is Miguel and I live at The Hope Alliance For Animals Rescue/Sanctuary in Killingworth! Before coming here I lived in a hoarding house with 50 other cats in 3 rooms!! Then the authorities came & took us to a noisy overcrowded shelter! I was petrified & was what they call "non responsive." I did not eat, I would not let anyone pet me, I was a mess! I got transferred to "death row." I only have one eye, I have herpes, I am a senior & I was not letting anyone get near me & that is often what happens to cats like me. We are killed. But Momma Lisa found out about me! And I came here! I love it here & learned to trust! Recently I got sick with severe stomatitis & had to have all my teeth removed! Then they found a lesion in my mouth too! Thankfully the biopsy was negative! I am on the road to recovery but Momma said we have lots of vet bills! I am expensive! We hope you can give a little bit to help! No amount it too small! My last visit alone was over 300.00! That does not include my surgery bills!
