Genuine Jackson Mwasha is fundraising

Roof of Africa School-Orphanage of Tanzania Fund
Our mission is to uplift orphans and street children in Sub-Saharan Africa by expanding horizons and transforming lives through quality English-based education, reuniting families, and championing an end to extreme poverty. Our progress is visible in our near completion of the first school in the remote village of Sonu, Tanzania. We unite global change-makers, endeavoring to erect educational institutions in every ward across Sub-Saharan Africa. We invite and inspire global partners and donors to join us at all levels in transforming these aspirations into reality. Our ultimate aim? To redefine the future of Sub-Saharan Africa's children, bringing a profound, positive impact on the world.
Education as a Beacon of Hope: At The Roof of Africa, we tirelessly work towards eradicating educational disparities. Our dedication is channeled into building schools and provisioning crucial learning resources to guarantee quality education for even the most marginalized children in the remotest, poorest corners of Sub-Saharan Africa. Our impactful curriculum aims to empower students with the necessary knowledge and tools to break free from the shackles of poverty.
Each complete, thoroughly furnished classroom - a stepping stone towards a brighter future - requires an investment of $11,139.79. In the isolated village of Sonu, East Ward. We urgently need funding for nine additional classrooms to complete our primary and secondary school project. Concurrently, the village of Nkwansira-kyuu anticipates the creation of 18 classrooms.
Our vision is to provide a seamless educational journey for these children, accompanying them from their tender years to young adulthood. An investment in their education is an investment in their future and the future of Sub-Saharan Africa.
Recognizing that many educational materials in local languages are outdated, we collaborate with school leaders and publishers to ensure students can access up-to-date, age-appropriate textbooks in their primary language. Your support can ignite change and transform lives. Join us in this noble cause.

WHO ARE WE, AND WHY DID WE CREATE THIS PAGE:
My name is Genuine Jackson Mwasha and I am the founder of Roof of Africa. Our mission at Roof of Africa is deeply personal to me. At two years old, I was abandoned on the streets of a remote part of Sub-Saharan Africa. However, I was fortunate enough to be taken in by a kind-hearted family who raised me as a member of their family and provided me with an English-based education. This transformed my life and ultimately gave me the opportunity to obtain an advanced professional degree and have a family of my own. My life experience has instilled in me the determination to extend this opportunity to as many children as possible. This is my dream and a way of giving back. I hope that you can help Roof of Africa provide similar opportunities to other children in need.
Tom Zierk (thomaszierk.president@usa-theroofofafricausainc.org) is the President of The Roof of Africa USA Inc. His belief in and passion for our mission is unwavering. Bringing years of experience in nonprofit leadership and education, he continues to guide us in our quest to transform lives in Sub-Saharan Africa.
