About The St. Thomas Renaissance Foundation Inc

The St. Thomas Renaissance Foundation's mission is to help bring about economic development in the Parish of St. Thomas, Jamaica, the poorest parish in the country. This includes improvement in educational outcomes and school infrastructure; improvements in healthcare delivery and healthcare facilities; expanding the tourism product; developing and attracting businesses that will create jobs for the many unemployed young people; develop the social infrastructure; preserving and promoting the parish's rich cultural heritage; working with community-based organizations to provide recreational facilities and activities for young people as a way to combat crime; help provide a safety net for the shut-ins and the elderly.
