Maine Mass Shooting: National Support Campaign

My name is Daniel Chapin & I am the current founder of The Uvalde Foundation for Kids. On behalf of our 501c3 nonprofit organization, I am spearheading this national GoFundMe campaign following the tragedy in Lewiston, Maine.
While our foundation's main focus since our inception has been preventing, and sadly, responding to the epidemic of school violence in this nation, we understand that our nation's students live in communities much like Lewiston, Maine & hence, our work must extend there as well.
Our foundation responded to the Wednesday, October 25th mass shooting in Lewiston, Maine & announced in a release Thursday afternoon that we will continue to extend our full resources and support services to the affected communities, including the Lewiston School communities. This includes a reward offer for information directly leading to an arrest and establishment of our STOPNOW Volunteer School Patrols within Lewiston school communities.
Yet, while the community regroups, families & students of this precious community have suffered the immeasurable loss of a loved one or friend. They will face numerous expenses during their regrouping and healing process. Sadly, many face expenses related to upcoming funeral costs, end of life costs, etc. This is where your support will help.
Donations will be utilized for emergency relief efforts to aide the families of victims with funeral costs and immediate needs such as household bills, etc., & will be distributed directly to the families upon verified need. All donations made to this GoFundMe are tax-deductible.
Foundation officials noted that for accountability purposes the fund is set to be overseen by its current board with oversight requested as well via the foundation.
