Hi, I’m Harry. For a project at my school, I had to come up with a topic I was interested in to help with. I chose tiger extinction. For my project, I went and interviewed the people at the Wild Animal Sanctuary. To help volunteer, I decided to raise money for them. I will match any donation up to $250. Thank you!

In appreciation of all that she has done for both the organization and us VOLUNTEERS, we are raising money to benefit The Wild Animal Sanctuary by sponsoring a FOUNDER ACRE at the REFUGE in Abby's name. In addition to helping the animals, we hope that Abby will be able to visit us in Colorado annually to attend future FOUNDER'S DAYS at the REFUGE (and perhaps do a bit of rock climbing while in the area)!  You may also wish to write Abby a note in the "words of encouragement" section!

In operation for over 38 years, The Wild Animal Sanctuary currently operates a 1,214-acre Sanctuary for rescued wildlife just north of Denver, Colorado. Yet, the Sanctuary is out of room and had no other choice but to close on the 10,000-acre property in southern Colorado. 

At $777 an acre, the lush pine forests and amazingly natural landscape found at the Refuge was an incredible deal. Securing the property with $2,000,000 dollars down now gives us all the opportunity to give the gift of freedom to the animals who need it most. There are already hundreds of people who have elevated their DNA by supporting the Refuge purchase, with each having donated $777 or more in honor of the animals.

Many others have banded together in groups to buy an acre, while some have just donated whatever they can afford, since they know it is the spirit in which you give that counts. No matter how large or small the gift, their donations have begun our effort to complete the purchase and develop the Refuge.
