As we enter this beautiful season of Thanksgiving and the Nativity Lent, we are reminded of all we have to be grateful for—and all we are called to give. At Three Hierarchs Academy in Florence, AZ, we are inspired daily by the mission of bringing our children closer to God through education, prayer, and community.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all of you who have supported our school in the past—through your donations, prayers, and encouragement. Your love and generosity have helped us accomplish so much, and we are excited to share the fruits of this labor with you:

• New Catechism Program: This year, we introduced a Catechesis class for all grades starting with Kindergarten. Through this program, our students are learning to love and practice the divine life at a young age, just as the Panagia began her service to God at three years old. We hope to make these lessons available to the wider community through our school website.

• Byzantine History Class: We are introducing students to the rich tapestry of Byzantine history, grounding their education in both faith and culture.

• Using CLT Results: For the first time, our students participated in the Classical Learning Test (CLT), a nationally recognized standard for education, and their results are encouraging and affirming the areas we need to focus on as we improve student learning.

• New Developments: Thanks to the generosity of a local family, we recently completed a new soccer field for the students, further enriching our campus and the opportunities we can provide.

• Organizational Growth: We are blessed to have several young, enthusiastic new members on our school board who are bringing renewed energy and vision to our mission.

Our current goal:

While we celebrate these milestones, we also face ongoing financial challenges. Last year’s campus renovations and construction projects—while critical to our growth—require continued fundraising to cover outstanding expenses. A recent golf tournament brought us closer to our goal, but we still need your help.

We hope you all had a blessed feast of the Nativity and wish you a blessed New Year.

 

Thank God, our enrollment has increased by 50% since last year and we are in need of expanding our facilities. We have purchased two modular classroom buildings and hope to have them installed by the end of January. Due to requirements for private schools in Arizona, we have an additional $50,000 in expenses we need to pay to complete the installation of the modular classrooms, install a fire monitoring system, add ADA compliant equipment, and complete other site improvements.

Dear Friends and Families of Three Hierarchs Academy,

Our mission at Three Hierarchs Academy is to provide an authentic Orthodox Christian education to help our children develop a strong spiritual foundation and become valued members of society. We are excited to enter our 5th year with the expansion of our campus, but this also comes with increased needs, and we rely on fundraisers and the support of generous donations to help realize our goals.

We are pleased to report that our two double-wide classroom buildings are now complete, which allows us to teach 140 students on campus. Additional accessible restroom facilities have also been installed and are complete, along with ADA-accessible paths and a Fire Monitoring System.

We are seeking your support to help us raise $75,000: $50,000 for costs to cover the installation of a Fire Suppression System and a future parking lot later this spring or summer, and $25,000 to provide scholarships and financial aid to students in need of these funds.
