Thurston County Deputy Sheriffs Foundation

The Thurston County Sheriff’s Office is looking to expand their K9 team to four certified K9's! With our help, we can add an additional dog team, which will allow a K9 and handler to be available and on duty day and night. These valued canine teams are utilized for suspect tracking and apprehension, building searches, locating discarded evidence/ property and participating in community demonstration events. These highly skilled K9 teams excel in locating and capturing suspects who would otherwise not be found.

Thurston County Sheriff’s K9 program is one of the best in the state and is fully funded by donations from community members, rather then taxes. Thanks to the generosity of our community donors, these incredible K9 teams are able to assist Thurston County Sheriff’s Deputies, local surrounding agencies and the citizens of Thurston County.

All funds raised will go directly to the acquisition and outfitting of the new K9 team.

Thurston County Sheriff’s K9 unit is a non-profit 501-C3.
