Spread The Warmth 2024
It is estimated that over 100,000 Chicagoans are homeless and struggle to survive the brutal cold every winter. It is a tragic problem but one we can all solve. To help those in need, we gather one night a year to spread our warmth through our beautiful city of Chicago - sharing tea, conversation, and kindness with those who feel Chicago’s cold shoulder the most.
Spread the Warmth is an event held by the Tiesta Tea Foundation every January to provide everyday necessities to our fellow Chicagoans in need, such as food, warm clothing items, toiletries and tea. We partner with shelters and soup kitchens to pass out the supplies we have collected with the help of volunteers from across our community. Each dollar raised goes to purchasing these essential supplies. Our goal is to bring these supplies to thousands of less fortunate Chicagoans and to spread our love and warmth with them.
Please help us on our goal to make the biggest impact possible for the people in Chicago who do not have a home to go to each day.
