Send Titan Robotics to FIRST Championship
Titan Robotics, aka FRC Team 5587, was started in 2015 with 20 students and the goal of building a moving robot. Eight years later, Titan Robotics has surpassed our wildest dreams, increasing membership, competing in the highest level of student robotics in the world, making clubs available to kid in our city, and being recognized at the district level for educating our community about STEM and robotics.
We are in the middle of our most successful competition season yet, winning two blue banners at our regional level competitions. These successes helped us qualify for the FIRST Chesapeake District Championship, where we traveled as a team to Hampton, Virginia to compete against other top teams in our district and won the prestigious Chairman's Award in recognition for our community outreach activities.
This award automatically qualifies us for the 2022 FIRST Championship in Houston, which will be held from April 20th-23rd. This is an amazing opportunity for team members to see the possibilities available to the in college and beyond, but it is a logistical feat that won't be possible without community support.
We are asking for donations to help fund transportation, accommodation, and meals for our trip to Houston, as we don't charge our members anything in an effort to keep robotics accessible to everyone. Please help us continue to educate and inspire students to pursue STEM by supporting Titan Robotics!
