Sponor 28 students to join our journey to Cape Coast
I'm raising money to offer 28 Ghanaian students at the Trinity Yard school to join our group of 12 Vermont students for a weekend excursion to the historic Elmina and Cape Coast castles as well as the Kakum National Park to walk 180ft above the forest floor on canopy bridges. The money raised will be used for transportation, entrance fees, food and lodging during the weekend. Any donation go directly to this opportunity for these students. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cultural exchange project, it will make a lasting impact on all who take part.

Provide daily meals to all Trinity Yard students

Greetings from Trinity Yard School (TYS)—https://trinityyardschool.org/), an off-the-grid day school for under-privileged, under-schooled teenagers started by my friend Rory Jackson 15 years ago. It’s just up the road from Cape Three Points—a remote village of 600 people on the southernmost tip of Ghana.

The special two-year program at TYS prepares and places kids in apprenticeships for vocational jobs so they have some hope of earning a livable income. As importantly, the school feeds lunch Monday to Friday to 50 youngsters—the 25 TYS students plus another 25 village kids. For many, it’s their only meal of the day; for almost all it’s their most nutritious. It’s commonplace for students to have small, odd jobs before school to pay for their own food on the weekends. I’m helping the school raise funds to continue feeding all the kids until the end of the school year so was wondering if you’d be willing to make a contribution? We could use your help reaching our fundraising goal—every donation makes a difference, and please feel free to pass the link to anyone you think might like to contribute.

Hi everyone!!! I will have the spectacular opportunity to spend the next 3 weeks with the wonderful children of Trinity Yard School in Cape Three Points in Ghana and would like to lend them a hand through a donation campaign!

Trinity Yard School is a nonprofit school that has been providing free education and vocational training for years, focusing on preserving Ghanaian culture through traditional arts and sustainable agriculture.

Solar Panels for Trinity Yard School, Ghana.
The Trinity Yard School educates and empowers the youth of Cape Three Points, Ghana by providing fee-free secondary education and career training opportunities to honor the potential of young Ghanaians. I have supported the Trinity Yard School for the past 8 years and now have the opportunity to visit in February with two friends. I aim to raise $3000 to purchase new solar panels and fans for the main school building. These panels and fans will create free and clean energy while keeping the students cool during the hot summers day. My friends are raising money for a new water system and an arts and crafts storefront where students can sell their artworks. Please help me improve the lives of these wonderful Ghanaian teenagers.
