It's 2020, the world is a crazy place, but there's one place that seems to be wonderful every year--Camp Kulaqua. We're going back this year, we're complying with CDC guidelines, and we'd like to raise enough to scholarship 15 students. 

The cost of camp rises every year (even though the wonderful folks at Kulaqua work with us), so it will take $385.00 to scholarship one student. $770 will send two kids.  $1155 will send three.  You can do the math.  :-) 

We so appreciate the support of our faithful partners who help keep Unclub going throughout the year, but we needs to have a special push for camp because there are other expenses, too--bus rental, covering the costs of those who attend as staffers, etc.  So we appreciate anything you can do to help! 

If you've ever been to camp, I'm sure you'll remember what a special time it is--fun, for sure, but it's also a time when we get away from our "regular" world and God can speak to us. My wife says she remembering God telling her she would be a writer one year when she was a youngster at camp--which struck her as odd, because that was the LAST thing on her mind!  

We love and appreciate you!  Camp is July 27-30, but we don't pay the bill until after we return, so all gifts are appreciated!  Blessings to you and yours!

We're doing it again!  We're going back to Camp Kulaqua and taking middle and high school students with us. Many of our kids won't be able to afford the cost of camp, so we're asking if you'd like to send a kid or two to camp. A week at Camp Kulaqua can be a life-changer!  

Camp 2021 will be August 2-5, 2021, and the cost of camp for one student is $390.  We also have to cover the cost of bus rental and various other expenses.  We would appreciate anything you can do to help.

Unclub is going to Camp Kulaqua on July 21-25, 2018!  Many of our students need financial help, and we need your help to provide it. Our goal is $5,000, which will send 15 students to camp. Please help us, and we thank you!  We are excited to see God work again as He has so many years in the past.

Hi! I'm Gary Hunt, and for the past 42 years I've been a middle school pastor--yep, you read that right. Five years ago my wife and I founded Unclub Ministries, a ministry dedicated to reaching middle school students in Pinellas County. (Why "Unclub?" Because it's all you've ever wanted in a club--and more.)

We are supported solely by donors, and our budget is tight this year. We expect about about forty students to need scholarships in order to attend camp this year, and our budget has NO surplus. That's just the way it is.

We've been going to the wonderful Camp Kulaqua for nearly thirty years, and the place is incredible. Horseback riding, water slides, the "blob" in the natural spring, go-carts, a zoo, canoeing, a climbing wall, a zip line, and spiritual teaching . . . it's truly a life-changing experience for kids who attend. I wish I could let you hear from kids who have gone in the past--so many of them consider their week at Camp Kulaqua as the best week of their lives!

It costs us $350 to send a kid to camp. Some of our students are able to pay their way (with help from their parents, of course), but most are not. Won't you please help us send these wonderful kids to camp? Camp 2017 is July 30-Aug 2, and we need to let kids know that they can go by July 21.

After so many years in youth ministry, I know that sometimes kids need to get away so they can think about important things like life, God, and their futures. Camp can be that time away, when kids make decisions that will last for their lifetimes.
