UCL Flood Recovery
Hurricane Harvey's rains entered Unity Circle of Light and flooded both our Sanctuary and the Light House with 1-2 feet of dirty water. Our first Sunday in the new Sanctuary was July 9th, a building that we are so proud of because much of the labor was by our own hands. Now we are back into construction mode after less than two months and we don't have a safe place to meet, so it's hard to get our regular donations as well. We need money to keep going as well as to rebuild. Words cannot convey our gratitude for any amount you are able to give. All gifts are tax deductible.
We are praying for our members and our community as they, too deal with the aftermath of this catisrophic storm.
Volunteers are cleaning up the mess.

As we begin the drying out process

Our beautiful wooden flooring in the Light House is a complete loss.
