Coetzee Memorial Scholarship
AN OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE
The Sean P. Coetzee Memorial Scholarship Fund
Please help honor Sean's legacy by making a donation today to the new Sean Peter Coetzee Memorial Scholarship Fund.
Sean was only one year away from completing his masters in Media Forensics at the University of Colorado when his life was quickly and unexpectedly cut short due to a late cancer diagnosis. To honor Sean's legacy, we have created the Sean Peter Coetzee Memorial Scholarship Fund in cooperation with the University of Colorado, which will aid scholars who demonstrate a propensity towards ethics in the field of digital forensics.
The University of Colorado Denver has agreed to establish this scholarship in perpetuity if we can raise $25,000 .
As of February 2015 we only have $3,500 left to raise!
Please help us establish this scholarship in Sean's honor before the deadline!
By donating to this scholarship fund and asking your friends to participate you are:
1) Bringing awareness to the 72,000 new cancer diagnoses each year of young adults between the ages of 18 & 39. Many of these diagnoses are late stage diagnoses due to the misconception that one can be too young to have cancer and life saving screening tests are not ordered soon enough.
2) Helping to support a university that is committed to keeping rates affordable and ensuring that people from a diverse range of economic backgrounds are able to access higher education.
3) Helping to create a lasting legacy in honor of Sean and show your support for those who loved him.
All donations are tax deductible.
