About Urban Butterfly Initiative
The mission of the Urban Butterfly Initiative is to increase biodiversity and conservation, create engagement and educational experiences, and provide science and research opportunities by modifying urban green spaces to create beautiful, low-cost, low-maintenance butterfly-friendly habitats. UBI provides expertise and guidance to public and private partners who seek to make existing urban green spaces more ecologically functional, while also generating the benefits of urban beautification, tourism, education, and science.
