Paul's Marathon Fundraiser for Food Security
Through quarantine, I've been realizing how important a nutritious meal is, but also how hard they can be to come by. So to help raise awareness for healthy eating and a healthy lifestyle, I'm running the Boston Marathon route on Saturday, May 8th (weather permitting) and concurrently raising money for Daily Table. Any donation will help make an impact, and if you would instead like your donation to be local, please consider donating to your local Food Bank. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me!
More information about Daily Table: Daily Table sells only healthy food, 30-40% cheaper than a traditional grocery store by recovering fresh food that would otherwise be wasted. On top of that, SNAP customers receive a 50% discount on produce on a purchase up to $10 worth (they pay $5). They have three stores locating in Dorchester, Roxbury and Cambridge.
I'll be collecting donations through the month of May.
