North High students here !
The club encourages students to spread awareness about Cancer in our local community. The club provides support for those affected by Cancer and their families. The club also raises funds for cancer research centers (specifically Valley Children’s Hospital) and treatment. It also provides students with an opportunity to volunteer for Cancer-related causes. My role in this club is to ensure that the club is functioning properly, and represent the club in any public interactions. For example, cancer awareness for every month is a crucial public interaction between my club members and the public. Our mission is to educate people (teens or adults) about cancer and raise funds for cancer research centers. Cancer awareness is important to me because I have seen tragic effects that this disease can have on individuals and their families. I believe that increasing awareness of cancer, its causes, symptoms, and treatments, is the key to reducing the number of people affected by it. In addition, spreading awareness could prevent people from being affected by this ruthless disease. Furthermore, I am committed to raising funds for research into better treatments and cures so that one day cancer will be a thing of the past.
Support our GoFundMe so that you, too, could help make cancer a thing of the past. Thank you, you will be appreciated!
