Gift a Groomer: Fat Bike Groomer for MAMBA
Winter biking in Montpelier is about to get SO much better, thanks to the addition of our newest groomer, a SNOWDOG! The SnowDog will allow the Montpelier Area Mountain Bike Association (MAMBA) to groom several miles of fat bike trails in North Branch--places where a snowmobile hasn't been able to groom in the past.

Help us raise $5,000 to cover the cost of the SnowDog. We have volunteer operators already lined up, who are dedicating their time right now to learning the machine and the best grooming practices. It's an art and a science, and we are lucky to have willing volunteers to take on the work of grooming and machine maintenance.

Montpelier Pump Track - By MAMBA
This spring MAMBA received approval from the Montpelier Parks Commission to build a pump across from the Cummings Street Apartments and near the entrance to the North Branch Trails network.

A pump track is a circuit of rollers, banked turns, and features designed to be ridden by riders "pumping" -- generating momentum by up and down body movements, instead of pedaling or pushing.

Pump tracks are great for skills development. The repetitive practice of going round and round, getting faster and more capable, builds confidence on the bike. Pump tracks are a fun and creative way to get kids outside and exercising.

MAMBA is again working with Sinuosity Flowing Trails to design and build the pump track. Work begins in June. Help MAMBA build this incredible resource with a donation today, in any amount.
