Warren Skatepark Addition
As a newly formed nonprofit, our mission is to assist the design, construction, and programming of free public Vermont skatepark facilities. Focusing on implementing new facilities & upgrading current facilities to promote community, inclusion, healthy living, and youth engagement.
For 17 years, we have been building as time and funding allow. With our group of volunteers and professional skatepark builders, we need the funding to make this space live up to its potential.
We are raising money to expand the skatepark in the space that the town has allotted for us. We are raising funds for the section colored in green. 1,400 square feet of new concrete to have fun on sounds pretty nice, doesn't it?
If we meet our fundraising goal, part of this budget will be hiring professionals to complete the work. Trust me, we love the volunteer effort, but without proper funding, we cannot put a time frame on finishing the job, leaving everyone at a loss.
We hope to get this completed this summer/fall of 2022. The sooner we have the funds, the sooner we can get a date for completion.
