Vietnamese Student Association of Minnesota

The Vietnamese Student Association of Minnesota, otherwise known as VSAM, was first registered in 1976 and is a well-established student organization at the University of Minnesota. An annual event VSAM hosts is their Tết Show—a celebration of the Vietnamese Lunar New Year for the greater Twin Cities community.

The Vietnamese Student Association of Minnesota has hosted the Tết Show with the purpose to immerse our community and anyone interested in Vietnamese culture through performing arts. With an elaborate production filled with original student performances, VSAM’s volunteers and supporters from across North America continue to deliver successful shows year after year.

All donations received will go directly towards funding the Tết Show. Areas where funding is most needed are media production materials, production for t-shirts with sponsor logos, and props for the skit and performance. Any donations will be sincerely appreciated and the VSAM community thanks you for your contributions towards the Tết Show! We hope to hear from you in the future and wish you a Happy New Year, or as we say it in Vietnamese, Chúc Mừng Năm Mới!

Hiệp hội Sinh viên Việt Nam Minnesota, hay còn gọi là VSAM, được thành lập từ năm 1976 và là một tổ chức sinh viên lâu đời tại Đại học Minnesota. Một sự kiện thường niên mà VSAM tổ chức là Tết Show— lễ kỷ niệm Tết Nguyên Đán của Việt Nam dành cho cộng đồng Twin Cities.

VSAM tổ chức Tết Show với mục tiêu tạo ra một không gian giao lưu văn hóa qua các tiết mục nghệ thuật, biểu diễn. Với chương trình bao gồm các tiết mục sáng tạo bởi sinh viên, các tình nguyện viên và người ủng hộ VSAM từ khắp Bắc Mỹ đã giúp làm nên những chương trình thành công qua từng năm.

Tất cả các khoản đóng góp sẽ được sử dụng trực tiếp để tài trợ cho Tết Show. Các lĩnh vực cần tài trợ nhất bao gồm tác phẩm truyền thông, sản xuất áo thun với logo của các nhà tài trợ, các đạo cụ cho tiểu phẩm và màn trình diễn. Mọi sự đóng góp đều rất được trân trọng và cộng đồng VSAM xin chân thành cảm ơn sự ủng hộ của bạn dành cho Tết Show!

For over fifteen years, the Vietnamese Student Association of Minnesota has hosted the Tết Show with the purpose to immerse friends, families, and anyone interested in Vietnamese culture through an engaging and educational experience along with storytelling and performance. Through an elaborate production filled with student performances, original and traditional fashion showcases, and a riveting script, VSAM’s volunteers and supporters from across North America continue to deliver successful shows year after year. To commence the Year of the Dragon with riveting performances and creative production, we need your support!

VSAM is a home for those on the University of Minnesota campus and the Tết Show is a time to celebrate. All donations received will go directly towards funding the Tết Show.
