Vivid Black Paint is fundraising
VividBlackPaint Community House
Vivid Black paint is a 501(c)(3) Non Profit organization based in Minneapolis Minnesota with the main goal being to uplift aspiring, established and re-establishing black artists and artists of color.
We plan to build Community into Community. We want to take abandoned structures and homes and transform them into affordable housing with arts focused spaces in them such as creating a dance studio in the basement and an arts room on the first floor and an open canvases for murals on the exterior walls.
The core points we plan to hit with building out VividBlackPaint Community Houses are:
* Affordable housing with live-in house leadership
* Full time access to arts focused spaces within the home
* Live community with other BIPOC Artists
* First priority for access to the full benefits of all Vivid Black Paint programs
We believe that the artist is the storyteller and transcriber of captivating the soul and movement of the times and we value their work and believe they should be able to create for the love of it and be compensated for the skill of it.
We look to help those "Tweeners," Folks who have outgrown access to resources that are built for youth creatives and aren't quite ready to navigate resources built for more established creatives. We really want to work with you if you are really still finding your vision and we want to help you develop it and carve out a general LIFE Plan for your success.
