W P Faist Volunteer Ambulance Corp

We the members of WP Faist Vol. Amb. Corps. in Chestnut Ridge, NY want to honor and remember our two fallen friends On September 21st in the early morning hours Lt Moshe Herzog and EMT David Schneebalg were returning home from volunteering their service at an event for Rosh Hashanah. Both men were killed in a tragic vehicle accident. Both of these men where extremely dedicated volunteers. We are raising money to continue their service and dedication with the purchase of a new ambulance to replace our current 16 year old ambulance and or the purchase of life saving equipment. We will never forget our fallen friends but we will continue their legacy.

My name is Michael Stewart and I am an Eagle Scout Candidate out of Troop 33 in Nanuet NY. In order to earn the rank of Eagle Scout I am required to complete an Eagle Scout Project. My Eagle Scout Project is for the William P. Faist Volunteer Ambulance Corps in Chestnut Ridge, NY. My project is upgrading the current sign that is outside of their headquarters to a full color LED sign. I will also be adding a garden to the perimeter of the sign. The upgraded sign will give the Corps the ability to keep the community informed of inclement weather, messages about CPR and First Aid classes and other information that may help keep the community safe.  I am asking for donations to help me fundraise this project, I am extremely grateful for any and all possible donations that are made and monies donated passed my goal will be donated to the Corps as well.  Being able to help our first responders is an awesome way to recognizes all they do for the community.
