Keep Veterans Warm This Winter
Walls for Warriors is not a new idea but a new concept in the Southwest Virginia/Northeast Tennessee area. Our goal is to offer our veterans temporary housing along with other services. We will be working with other organizations that specialize in employment training, such as digital skills, the interview process, and resume writing.
We are also partnering with organizations that will support our men and women in areas of emotional concerns as well as substance use.
At this point, our main concern is doing what we can to help our veterans through the upcoming months as the temperature will be dropping. We are raising funds to pay for temporary stays at local hotels, winter clothes, hygiene products (men and women), tents, and sleeping bags.
We realize that we are living in difficult times with the rise of food, gas, and utilities, but we also realize the sacrifice of the men and women that served our country. We are asking for a $7.00 donation per month ($0.23 per day) to help us help our veterans!
