Make an impact in 2020– help us build a holistic school community that will transform lives for generations! We've pledged commitment with WE Charity to build a school community in Ethiopia in 2020!
Together, we're activating our local community to empower, protect and unite a marginalized, pastoral community across the globe. Here's how you can help:
1. Donate— from $5 to $50,000 every dollar counts (90% goes to the school projects on the ground)
2. Raise awareness in your circles and communities by—
A) Sharing this link to raise awareness and funds!!
B) Connecting with us about co-hosting an event/ experience together
The pastoral community raises a portion of the funds to ensure commitment and ownership to this transformational process. Your support gives people the means to THRIVE.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for supporting this incredibly impactful cause!

About the ProjectFor the past five years, Johanna has been involved with WE Charity's imagine1day community school projects in Ethiopia. It is an incredible cause & for two years Johanna worked full time building community, marketing and fundraising for them. She grew respect and love for the team of native Ethiopians, (many of whom have been with us for a decade) on the ground who work in partnership with the rural communities to
create not just a school, but a community center for marginalized villages. We'll be matched with a community partner in the next a few months. Stay tuned for updates!
The goal of this initiative is to implement a holistic, sustainable development model to empower communities to lift themselves out of poverty. This is achieved through five key Pillars of Impact: Water, Education, Health, Opportunity and Food. WE Charity has built 1,500 + schools and school rooms giving more than 200,000 children the opportunity to gain an education. With 53 schools built in Ethiopia over the past 10 years in partnership with imagine1day. Soon to be 1 more with your help!
Past Projects In 2016 The Ladybug Preschool was built in Gereb Abdela, Ethiopia was born out of the love and memory of Johanna's loving aunts. A community of us came together to create a legacy for them. In turn, the community in Ethiopia has been transformed– students have access to fully furnished classrooms, teachers are adequately trained, there is access to clean water and overall there is increased interest in learning and teaching.
