HELP US BUILD A CHABAD JEWISH COMMUNITY CENTER IN BEAUTIFUL ISLA MUJERES, MEXICO

Isla Mujeres is a beautiful, peaceful island paradise across from Cancun, Mexico. Tens of thousands of Jewish visitors arrive at Isla Mujeres every year for Shabbat, Holidays, and Events. Visiting the Chabad House Jewish Community Center is a powerful Jewish experience for those who come to the island, attending massive high-spirited meals, prayer assemblies, and celebrations organized by Rabbi Yossi and his wife, Rivka. Chabad House Isla Mujeres is their mission in life and place of residence until the coming of the Messiah speedily in our days.

The current structure of Chabad House in Isla Mujeres is not equipped to manage the volume of people coming to pray, dine, and celebrate together. Our goal is to build a dynamic community center where Jewish locals and visitors can gather, worship, study, and celebrate comfortably.

The proposed construction plan will include a 1,750 square meter structure, where all the needs of the local Jewish community and the Jews who come to the site will come together. The magnificent building will contain a synagogue, study rooms, a separate kosher l'mehadrin dairy and meat restaurant, a kindergarten, and a kitchen with a spacious dining room. The luxurious dining room will host thousands of Jews each year for kosher meals on Shabbat, Chagim, and special occasions. There will be a spacious courtyard in its foyer to benefit the many guests.

The location was carefully selected to enable the extensive activities of the mission's institutions in Isla-Mujeres and to ensure the many guests' safety and security.

עשרות אלפי מבקרים יהודים מגיעים לאיסלה מוחרס מדי שנה לשבתות, חגים ואירועים.

הביקור במרכז הקהילתי היהודי של בית חב"ד הוא חוויה יהודית עוצמתית למגיעים לאי, כאשר המבקרים הרבים משתתפים בארוחות שבת, תפילות בבית הכנסת ושמחות שמארגנים הרב יוסי ורעייתו רבקה ברמה גבוהה מאוד.

בית חב"ד איסלה מוחרס הוא שליחות חייהם ומקום מגוריהם עד ביאת המשיח במהרה בימינו.

המבנה הנוכחי של בית חב"ד באיסלה מוחרס כיום אינו מכיל את כמות האנשים המגיעים להתפלל, לסעוד ולחגוג יחד.

המטרה שלנו היא לבנות מרכז קהילתי דינמי בו יוכלו המקומיים והמבקרים היהודים להתאסף, להתפלל, ללמוד ולחגוג בנוחות ובשמחה.

תוכנית הבנייה המתוכננת תכלול מבנה כולל בשטח של 1,750 מ"ר, שבו יתכנסו כל צרכי הקהילה היהודית המקומית והיהודים המבקרים במקום. המבנה המפואר יכיל בית כנסת, חדרי לימוד, מסעדות חלבי ובשרים כשרות למהדרין, גן ילדים ומטבח עם חדר אוכל מרווח, חדר האוכל המפואר יארח אלפי יהודים מדי שנה לארוחות כשרות בשבת, בחגים ובאירועים מיוחדים. בכניסה למבנה תהיה חצר רחבת ידיים לטובת האורחים הרבים.
