Education Technology needed @Winston Knolls School
Winston Knolls Foundation is a State of Illinois 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that
serves as the philanthropic entity of The Winston Knolls School. The Foundation helps
families affected by autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related developmental delays.
The Winston Knolls School is a private, non-profit school for children with Autism and developmental delays, currently located in Elgin, IL. The School currently serves over 30 school districts, and 50 + students, and continues to grow every day.
With growth, comes needs that must be met. We are currently seeking donations to help the Foundation achieve its goal of giving every classroom (8) a new SMART Board, as well as furnishing the computer lab with much-needed updated hardware and software programs. These new SMART Boards and computer lab technology equipment will be durable, more user-friendly for the students, have touch screen capabilities, and have the newest technology for special needs students, allowing our Winston Knolls students to thrive.
If you are willing and able, please help us to achieve this goal. Every donation counts, big or small!
Thank you for supporting The Winston Knolls Foundation and School!

What is a SMART Board used for in the classroom?
Smart boards — also called interactive whiteboards or e-boards — improve the special education student’s learning experience. They allow teachers and students to learn collaboratively, share files, access online resources, and use educational software.
