The best gift you can give for my birthday is to help give back!
I will cook for you and invite you to "gift the restaurant/me" with a donation to Women Deliver. Women Deliver promotes and advances the health of girls, women, and mothers as a core element of the global development agenda; serves as a global source of information for women rights advocacy and action; and develops and disseminates tools, solutions, and resources to mobilize for gender equality issues.
I went to the Women Deliver Conference in 2019, and it inspired me to, as many of you know, orient my career to build a world where women and girls worldwide have equal access to economic opportunities. This summer we saw women's health and autonomy be jeopardized so it is fitting that Women Deliver is this year's charity.
Together we're continuing an 8-year tradition (see below)!
