Who is Woodbridge Faith Center?
Located in Woodbridge, Virginia, WFC for more than a decade has contributed to development and growth of the Islamic faith in providing religious and educational services to the local community, especially Muslim youth. The mosque provides regular religious services such as 5 daily Salah prayers, Jummah congregations, Ramadan and Eid holiday services and much more! The mosques is also an institution for religious education with a dedicated research and publication team for both print and digital media. Lastly, the mosque provides financial and social assistance by the 100 % Sadaqah and Zakat charity programs as mandated by the pillars of faith.

At WFC, we strive to provide our community with authentic Islamic culture and complete religious services that sets us apart. Our mission and vision statements are based the belief and practice that we hold firmly to Quran and Sunnah of Rasulullah (SAW). To achieve this, we strongly adhere to the traditional sources of Islamic knowledge which has been the transferring mechanism of divine guidance and spiritual enlightenment for centuries.
It is our organizational belief that as American Muslims, we must preach peace, promote peace and practice peace. We must strive to the overall betterment of the American society which is our home and the home for our future generations In Sha Allah. To achieve this, we strive to educate our ourselves with proven and time tested Sunnah values from throughout the ages of successful Islamic figures, communities, and societies. Our future generations deserve the best opportunity to survive life with their Imaan (faith) intact spiritual challenging environments. Our focus is on empowering the next generation of Muslims with the basic knowledge and Islamic habits they need to succeed as Muslims.
What is our growth strategy?
Due to high demand, our current 2000sq ft. facility is insufficient to fully accommodate the local community and we require a larger space to continue providing and expanding our services. In late 2024, we completed the debt-free purchase of 3.8 acre land in Prince William County after years of hard fundraising efforts. Our immediate and long-term goal is to complete the second half vision of building the House of Allah SWT in Virginia!
1. Planning and Development Land Use and Zoning, Facility Design, and Parking and Accessibility
Ensure the 3.8-acre land is properly zoned for religious and educational use.
Develop a master plan for the site, including the mosque, seminary, multi-use facility, and parking areas.
Design a state-of-the-art, self-sustaining mosque with clean energy features.
Plan for educational facilities to house the Islamic seminary and other programs.
Create a multi-use facility for community events, health services, and cultural activities.
Design ample parking to accommodate religious services and educational activities.
Ensure ADA compliance with accessible parking spaces, ramps, and appropriate signage.
2. Phased Construction
Begin with the construction of the mosque and essential community spaces.
Develop initial parking areas to support immediate needs.
Construct the seminary and additional educational facilities.
Complete the multi-use facility and any remaining parking areas.
3. Financial Strategy, Funding Sources and Revenue Generation
Generate funding streams through individual donors, grants, and potential corporate sponsorships.
Implement a "waqf" system for sustainable long-term funding.
Establish including revenue-generating business or retail spaces within the multi-use facility.
Develop a financial plan that ensures sustainability beyond the initial construction phases.
4. Community Engagement Outreach Programs and Educational Initiatives
Design programs that cater to the broader community, fostering inclusivity and shared values.
Implement cultural events and health services to attract diverse community participation.
Expand the seminary and Islamic school programs.
Offer specialized instruction and child care services to meet community needs.
5. Operational Expansion Staffing and Technology Systems
Evaluate current capacity and plan for increased staffing needs as the new location develops.
Consider phased hiring to align with the construction and program implementation timeline.
Invest in scalable systems for donor management, volunteer coordination, and administrative tasks.
Implement technology solutions that can support operations across both locations.
6. Marketing, Communication Awareness Campaign and Fundraising Communication
Develop a marketing strategy to inform the community about the expansion and new services.
Utilize social media, local partnerships, and community events to build community support.
Regularly update members on progress and opportunities for involvement.
7. Sustainability, Growth Metrics Performance Indicators and Long-term Planning
Establish clear metrics for success, including attendance, program participation, and community impact.
Regularly assess and adjust the growth strategy based on these indicators
Develop a 5-year plan for continued growth and program development.
Regularly review and update the plan to ensure alignment with community needs and organizational capacity.

The campaign appeal for the LaunchGood community will remain continuous until the construction is complete. A team of motivated professionals and community leaders are devoting their days and nights into making this project come into fruition with the Mercy of Allah SWT as quickly as possible.
