When I was 2 years old, my Mom signed me up for World Vision and since then, I have been a sponsor. This year of 2020, I got a magazine in the mail. It was on farm animals, and I decided to give it a look. When I opened it up, I saw that I could try to raise enough money to get 20 chickens, 2 pigs, 2 goats, 2 cows, and 2 sheep! When my mom suggested that I try to “buy the farm”, I said yes! I have been working and saving my money. Then I decided to start this GoFundMe because I think that this will make a very big impact.

KNBR is partnering with Giving in Motion to raise $100,000 to provide food and basic necessities to families affected by COVID-19 through World Vision.  Giving in Motion will match every dollar raised up to $50,000 to reach our goal. 

Your donation will help bring 6500 meals to families in the East Bay.  Additionally, we will provide 1300 bags containing school supplies and household essentials.  We hope you will join us to support our community through this difficult time!

Don't you miss the normal life we had before this pandemic?  Well, I do! I am 11 years old and I miss being outdoors and seeing my friends at school.

This is about more than that.. imagine all the people who are actually suffering from COVID-19.  We could save so many lives just by raising money to get basic supplies and PPE's.

All donations will go directly to World Vision International, who I personally chose after researching several charities. My favorite thing about World Vision is that they focus on children. They have supported 3.8 million children through their sponsorship communities. 

World Vision is going above and beyond by focusing on providing PPEs and other supplies to hospitals because they don't have enough right now.
