Ella's Heartfelt Sloth Fundraiser
Support Ella’s Mission to Help the Endangered Pygmy Three-Toed Sloth!

Our daughter Ella is a kindergartener with a huge heart for animals and a passion for protecting the planet. For her upcoming school Science Fair, she chose a project that’s both meaningful and urgent—raising awareness for the critically endangered Pygmy Three-Toed Sloth.

This tiny species is found only on a remote island off the coast of Panama, and with fewer than 100 left in the wild, they’re at serious risk of disappearing forever. Ella was heartbroken to learn about their struggle, and she’s determined to help in any way she can.

As part of her project, Ella is raising funds to donate to the World Wildlife Fund, supporting their conservation efforts to protect these unique creatures and their fragile habitat.

Introduction

Tigers are a species of beautiful and majestic animals that have long been an important part of our natural heritage. They are endangered and their numbers continue to decline every year. It is vitally important we increased awareness about them and work together to save these amazing creatures for future generations

Tigers are an important part of our world, and it is our responsibility as guardians of this planet to

ensure they are protected. We must work together to spread the message and take action to safeguard tigers and their habitats. By doing so, we can ensure these incredible creatures will continue to thrive for generations to come.

Why Tiger are Endangered

Tigers are facing numerous threats that are leading to their demise,

including habitat loss and fragmentation, poaching, and illegal trade of their parts.

Climate change is also playing a huge role in their demise as their habitats become increasingly unviable and they struggle to find sustenance

Why Should We Save Tiger

Tigers are a vital part of our ecosystem and provide numerous benefits to us.

They help maintain a balance between herbivores, as they are apex predators, and they can help protect areas from overgrazing by herbivores.

They also afford us incredible opportunities to learn more about nature and appreciate its beauty

Why Should We Save the Forest

Forests are the lungs of our planet and provide us with a variety of resources, such as oxygen, food, and shelter. They are vital for sustaining life on earth and are an integral part of our climate system. Forests also provide us with numerous economic opportunities and can be a valuable asset to any community

How we can help

Raise awareness about the plight of tigers and educate others about why it is so important to save them

Support organizations and initiatives that work to protect and conserve tigers and their habitats

Advocate for stronger laws and regulations that protect tigers and the forests they inhabit

Reduce the demand for tiger products, such as medicine and souvenirs, by spreading the word and speaking out against their use

Support tiger-friendly livelihoods, such as eco-tourism to raise awareness and promote more sustainable lifestyles

Help Protect Africa's Gorilla Populations
Gorilla populations in Africa are declining and they have become an endangered species. The reasons are: poaching, disease, and habitat destruction. The ecosystem will suffer and become unbalanced if we don’t help save the gorillas from extinction. I plan to have an expert on gorillas give an educational lecture about this issue to spread awareness. After the lecture, I will sell gorilla plushies and all the profit will go to a reliable gorilla conservation organization. The required budget is estimated at $360. I will get 30 plushies, which come out to $260; the expert varies from $0 - $100.

Climate change is real. I don't care what anyone has to say about what is or isn't true. As someone who attended a "green school" in my formative years growing up, I've learned about the impact we have to ensure a healthy, safe, and livable environment for ourselves and future generations to come.

Staying on theme around animals from my animal print birthday coming up, I'm pooling money to donate to wildlife and nature preserves to help support environmental organizations such as the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and fund research, conserve wildlife and nature preserves, protect marine life and freshwater resources, and more.

Hello! My name is Elza. I am 11 years old. I am fundraising for the World Wildlife Fund (WWF). The WWF is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation of nature and the saving of the environment for future generations. I have loved animals for as long as I can remember and want to help them in any way I can. With each plume of smoke, with every drop of water used, our natural world is vanishing. Our choices are very few, but taking action is one of them. Some things you can do are: limiting shower time, turning off the lights when you aren't using them, choosing to walk or bike instead of driving, and donating to organizations like the WWF.
