As a vet who cared for the service members and refugees who came back from Afghanistan, when I was at Walter Reed, I ask you to show your thanks by supporting those who need help getting the benefits they have earned. I ask you too put politics, identity, and beliefs aside and recognize the people who gave a piece of themselves they'll never get back in the hopes you can sleep better at night. Thank you for the support, and thank you for veterans day.

Support Veterans in Honor of Camiren's Grandpa❤️
Hello, I am Camiren C. I would like to raise money for Wounded Warrior Project for not only my grandpa, who has joined God but many other families, veterans, and to raise funds for veterans who are transitioning to civilian life.

My grandpa was an American Soldier in the Vietnam War. He had to be discharged due to stepping on an IED (landmine). Not only did my grandpa serve for his country, he served the people he loves, his family, and anyone who he came into contact with.

When he turned 70 years old, he had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. For me, and my family it was hard to watch him deteriorate inside his mental state because we couldn’t do anything about it.

My Grandfather passed in February on the 13th of 2022. This is my reasoning to fundraise, Is because my grandfather and the many men and women who served our great country, United States of America.

Wounded Heroes of America's ("WHOA") mission is to recognize and support our combat wounded Veterans from Operation Iraqi Freedom ("OIF") and Operation Enduring Freedom ("OEF"). We began in 2001 supporting families broken after the World Trade Center tragedy. The consequent series of events encouraged us to continue our social work; and in 2004 we started helping combat wounded veterans. Since then, WHOA supports wounded veterans and their families in moving forward to their new lives as civilians providing monthly financial aid, Fellowship support, and a network of holistic assistance.
