Please join me in raising funds to celebrate Ralph's induction into the inaugural Yale Rugby Hall of Fame. Our goal here is participation -- we're hoping for contributions from teammates and friends from across the decades who have been part of Ralph's journey.

As a way to memorialize Ralph’s contributions to the program, we’re launching a project to develop a Yale Rugby Team Room at Payne Whitney gym. The Team Room will be a place for the team to gather to review film and discuss tactics and strategy, for the rugby coaches to meet and do administrative work, and to meet with rugby recruits and their families, who might not otherwise be convinced of rugby's standing at Yale as a club sport.

The space is adjacent to the swimming team room, on a floor with other varsity team offices. It currently does not have basic life safety systems (sprinklers, etc.) and sits next to very loud mechanical equipment. To make the space suitable for our uses, we also want to add office furniture, video technology and seating for players.

Renovation and refurbishing costs are budgeted at $60k, with an additional $20k needed for creating a top-notch coaching environment.
