YES!

Our Vision For At-Risk Youth in Haiti: 

Create a safe place where youth who have aged out of the Haitian orphanage system can come to learn, be equipped with life skills, grow in their faith, receive a hot meal, unconditional love, and realize that they can make a difference in their country.

Why Now?

We are called to empower young adults by meeting their individual needs as they transition into adulthood. There are very few safe places in Haiti where young adults can go to be trained for the life they will face in this nation. YES! stands ready as we continue to equip this generation to help more young adults that are coming out of the orphanages. We need you to help these young people make a difference in Haiti.

We need to raise 120K by July 1st for we will lose the property to another interested buyer.

The YES! Tree:

Our logo has always been the YES! tree––a strong root system, trunk, and main branches signify the importance of the foundation. The leaves represent the transitioning youth and the community, including you, who have helped YES! grow and equip Haiti’s youth. Our YES! young adults will paint two YES! trees on the inside gate of the property. We are incorporating the leaves as a major part of our fund-raising campaign for this property. When you donate, your first name will be painted on the leaf color level of your support (first name only or you can also pick a nickname). You can also give "in memory of” or "in honor of" or "your company", etc. to be painted on the leaf.

You are helping to create a safe place where young adults, adults, and children can learn and transition into responsible citizens and take on a meaningful role in their community. This will be a one-of-a-kind equipping center serving Haiti.

 

A Gift for You:

At Christmas time, donors who helped meet our goal will receive a Christmas ornament in the shape of their leaf, branch, or the whole YES! tree depending on the size of the donation. The Christmas ornaments will be hand-made by a local Haitian artisan. These artisans do amazing work with the meager tools and supplies available to them.
