The Young Men's Christian Association of Florida's First Coast, Inc.

In the midst of this public health crisis the Coronavirus (COVID19) has created one of the most difficult moments in world history.

I’m very concerned about the impact of COVID-19 on our state and country. This is definitely an unprecedented time when so many different groups of people all over the country and the world need support.

And as a GenZ, my generation is just not sitting around but like many we are coming together to help people in need during this crisis too.

I have seen many campaigns being created to help with food, rent, utilities, and medical supplies like ventilators and masks to name a few.


So many of our non profit organizations that have been there before this crisis  will also be here after it they are also in desperate need to stay afloat and continue to be our brothers and sisters keepers in this time of need as well.

Inspired by my big brothers and GoFundFund Heroes Frederick Joseph and Jeff Lew lending their platforms to help those in need I have decided I would like to do the same.

So I’ve started the #YWeStillPlay Relief Fund to help my local Y and individuals in my community to meet some needs not yet met by government programs in hopes to ease some of these burdens in my community.

My local Y is providing child care to health care providers or essential workers who are on the frontline of this crisis, all while working to stay connected with their wellness community through virtual fitness classes, providing a virtual academic programming for youth and working to reach it’s well over 10,000+ seniors on the First Coast to let them know they are not alone.

So here’s how you can help:

1. You can donate directly to this campaign where all funds raised will go directly to YMCA of Florida's First Coast.

2. You can share this campaign with your friends, family, and community.

3. To my fellow youth, I challenge you to create your own #YWeStillPlay Relief Fund campaign to help a non-profit, organization, or group  in need in your community.


Every contribution counts and matters. Join me in making a difference. Help me raise money to benefit YMCA of Florida's First Coast (First Coast YMCA), a donation of any size will help make an impact.
