YIA COVID Relief Fund - Board Match up to $10,000
The Youth in Arts Board and sponsor Troutman Sanders will match all donations up to $10,000!
The Youth in Arts Board created the YIA Covid Relief Fund to help support our organization as we navigate school closures, massive program redesign, and cope with delayed or cancelled foundational funding. Due to the national Covid-19 Crisis, we have cancelled our May gala celebration and lost funding for crucial school and district partnerships. This has resulted in specific financial challenges to deliver current programming via distance learning but also our ability to plan for a more sustainable future.
Youth in Arts has very specific intentions for the raised/matched $20,000. The YIA COVID Relief Fund will directly support 3 current initiatives:
1) Help pay for our teaching artists to deliver and get technical support as they shift their programs online.
2) Help Youth in Arts create much needed sanitary art supply kits for our students most impacted by the current crisis.
3) Help sustain Youth in Arts while we transition to online learning and continue to develop innovative ways to serve our community.
With your support we can make it to our 50th anniversary in 2021, and reach our next million students! Please help us meet our goal by our deadline of May 20, 2020.
