Help Restore ZamZam Academy for Our Students
Update 2: January 2025.
Bismillah-ir-Rahman-ir-Raheem
Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh,
Alhamdulillah, by the grace of Allah and your generous support, our students returned to the school building in mid-December, just before their winter break. Seeing them back in their classrooms has been a source of immense joy.
However, some critical repairs and replacements remain:
Outside Fencing – $80,000–$100,000
Teacher Desks – 10 desks @ $279 each ($2,790)
Damaged Doors – 4 doors @ $1,350 each ($5,400)
Maple Folding Storage Units – 4 units @ $1,200 each ($4,800)
Abel Block Sets – 3 sets @ $620 each ($1,860)
We humbly ask for your continued support to complete these projects and provide our children with a safe, nurturing environment. Every donation counts and will serve as sadaqah jariyah, benefiting you in this life and the Hereafter.
Jazakum Allahu Khairan for your generosity and du’as.
Update: Thanks to your generous donations fallen trees have been removed and demolition inside has started. Please share with your friends and contacts so we can get our kiddos back into their classrooms quickly.
I’m reaching out to ask for your support in making a real difference. ZamZam Knowledge Academy, the only full-time Islamic educational institution in Volusia and Flagler counties, was severely affected by Hurricane Milton, and we need your help to rebuild.
On October 9-10, 2024, Hurricane Milton tore through Daytona Beach, leaving devastation in its wake. Just before the storm, we had proudly completed a remodel of our beloved school, transforming the old Islamic Center into classrooms for our PreK 3-5th grade students. But now, our school sits in over 8 inches of filthy floodwater. The longer we wait the more the mold will creep into the walls causing more issues to mitigate.
ZamZam Knowledge Academy has been a vital part of this community since 2016, offering quality education to about 50 young students. Now, our classrooms are uninhabitable, and we’re unable to continue serving our students until repairs are made.
We urgently need your generosity to help us restore the building, replace destroyed materials, and secure a temporary location so our students don’t lose access to their education. Every dollar you contribute will bring us closer to reopening our doors and returning to the vital mission of nurturing the future of our community.
Your kindness today will have a lasting impact on these children, their families, and our community as a whole.
Thank you for your support and for standing with us during this difficult time.
