Can you believe that our 5th graders' graduation day is coming up so quickly??  It's been a year like no other, and all of us -- kids, teachers, staff, and parents -- deserve huge congratulations for surviving and thriving.  Nothing is set in stone yet, but we're working hard to come up with a plethora of celebratory graduation festiveness for both our on-campus and virtual kids.   

Any amount helps, but if most families can contribute between $30 and $50, we should be in good shape for a great celebration and to help cover those who aren't in a position to give right now.  

We're also collecting here for appreciation gifts for the wonderful teachers and staff who helped get us to this day.

Dear families of Zilker 5th Graders,

Our kids' graduation day is coming up fast on May 24th!  It's the very last day our kids (and us families too) will all be together at Zilker Elementary.  Let's work together and make this day one to remember!!!!

Just like the previous two years, I've put a fundraising goal of $2.5K. This will cover decorations, sound system, refreshments, picnic lunch, 2 bouncy water slides and all other fun entertainment we have planned for the ceremony & festival.  All funds collected will be handled by the Zilker PTA and the committee is being very mindful of spending.

Anything we collect, above and beyond, will go towards appreciation gifts for the wonderful teachers and staff who helped get us to this day.  

As one of Zilker's largest and most engaged classes - let's all pitch in one last time and send them off to middle school in style! Every little bit helps.

Zilker 5th grade graduation is coming up on May 30th.   Families of 5th graders are in charge of making it a day to remember for our graduating class!  They've worked so hard and have grown so much in Zilkerland!  Please pitch in what you can and we will get the ball rolling toward making their last day at Zilker Elementary their favorite!

The collected funds will be handled by Zilker PTA and go toward:

Two bouncy water slides - $800
Petting Zoo - $500
Picnic Lunch snacks & drinks - $200
Decorations for Ceremony and Reception  ~$300
Reception beverages & snacks for adults & students  ~$300
Sound system & DJ services ~$300
Kona Ice Truck ($200) or GoodPops ($150) for 100 kids


If we raise more than our goal (like last year!), we can also include appreciation gifts from 5th grade families to our wonderful teachers and staff who have helped us get to this day!!
