Four of the North Caroline County High School Cheerleaders have been invited to an Exclusive Invitation Only, College-Prep Cheer Camp.
It’s not every day that Caroline County high school students get selected to attend an invitation only, college-prep camp. However, these four young ladies secured their spot at cheer camp this summer with not only their amazing cheerleading abilities, but also their leadership skills and cumulative GPAs! Kayla Creasy (Soph.), Sarah-Michelle Critchfield (Soph.), Lisa Nguyen (Jr.), and Kaitlyn Strong (Soph.) will be headed to the exclusive and prestigious CheerHawaii 2018 Invitation Only, College-Prep cheer camp in June. They will be joined by other cheerleading athletes from all 50 states as well as renowned college cheerleading coaches from universities such as the University of Texas.
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for those cheerleaders that are selected which makes the selection process intense and very detailed. The selection committee seeks student athletes with the following qualities: Good basic cheer skills, leadership abilities, desire to learn and improve, excellence in academics, positive attitude, and community service and involvement. While at camp, cheerleaders work on three main areas: building cheer skills and preparing for the college level, growth in leadership, and experiencing the Hawaiian culture. They have a unique way of combining workout sessions with the experience of some of Hawaii’s best beaches and activities.
Cheerleaders throughout North Caroline County will benefit from these four young ladies attending this camp. Upon returning from the camp, these four cheerleaders will bring new skills and knowledge that will be shared with their squads. We look forward to cheering them on and seeing the results of their hard work this summer at camp!
Fundraising activities to fund this trip for these students have begun.

· There will be a “Purse & Gift Card” Bingo on May 18, 2018 at 7:00 pm. DONE - THANK YOU!!!
Both bingos will be held at the Greensboro Fire Hall, 13781 Greensboro Rd, Greensboro, MD 21639. $20 per bingo book prepaid by 4/18 (via PayPal) or $25 at the door. Vendors are welcome and need to contact the Club at CheerBoosterClubofNCC at gmail.com for donation/table/participation information.
· “Your Mom is the Bomb” Bath bomb gift sets are being sold for $25 each. Includes 5 bath bombs – 4 assorted and 1 cupcake! Packaged for giving! STILL ON SALE!!!
· “Crab Feast” – Tickets are 1 for $5 or 5 for $20. Drawing to be held August 27, 2018. STILL ON SALE!!!
· Come see us at the Strawberry Festival in Ridgely where we will also have a 50/50 cash drawing! DONE - THANK YOU!!!

KAYLA:
Kayla is a dancing queen! She has been involved in dancing for 12 years and cheering for North Caroline High School during her high school career. Not only does she have a perfect GPA but she also has an amazing high kick! She volunteers in the community and has been involved in the Leo Club and Girl Scouts. She is very dependable, patient, responsible and hard working. She likes to succeed and help others succeed. She is always looking for ways to make things better. Kayla is a shining star lighting up North Caroline County!
LISA:
Lisa is a stunting champ! She has been cheering since she was 8 years old. She is currently cheering for North Caroline High School and on an All Star Competition Squad (who just won FIRST PLACE in the Delaware State All Star Competition!). She has amazing jumps and breathtaking tumbling. In addition to her cheerleading skills, she gives back to the community and to younger, upcoming cheerleaders by volunteer coaching a team of All Star Minis. They love Lisa and learn from her. Lisa is a kind, sweet and smart person with a great GPA who helps those in need. Her jumps are high and her heart is big! She is an excellent representative of her community, North Caroline County!
SARAH-MICHELLE:
Sarah-Michelle is a stunting guru by having mastered all stunting positions . She has cheered consistently through her high school career and is a part of an All Star Competition Squad (who just won FIRST PLACE in the Delaware State All Star Competition!) She has super jumps, a big heart and is a well rounded cheerleader. She is a great teacher and a natural leader who loves to work with children while being a summer camp counselor for two years. She is a friend to all, is warm, kind and brightens the room with her smile. She has a good GPA and is actively involved in giving back to the community with over 150+ community hours. Sarah-Michelle is a North Caroline County Volunteer extraordinaire!
KAITLYN:
Kaitlyn is an amazing cheerleader and team mate. She has been cheering with North Caroline High School during her high school career. She has not only perfected her jumps and kicks, but also is willing to help teach others with cheers and learning new skills. She has an exceptional GPA and is always positive and upbeat. She is very goal oriented, rarely missing any goal she sets! She takes on new challenges eagerly and willingly. She is always thinking outside the box and looking for ways to make others lives easier. Kaitlyn is an ambassador of ambassadors of North Caroline County!
