Chelsea Goes to Medical School!

Hi Friends and Family,
as many of you know I have been interested in pursuing a career in medicine for years. I have taken numerous classes, traveled and assisted in community health programs, worked years in healthcare related jobs, had life changing and eye-opening health-related experiences, and patiently waited for years- all for God's ultimate plan and timing.
So the time has come, I am going to the Trinity School of Medicine! It is located in Kingstown, St. Vincent ( in the southeast Caribbean), and I start in January! I know...it's all so sudden and shocking, but it's what God has for me and truly "Eyes have not seen, ears have not heard, neither has it entered into the heart of man the things God has for them that love the Lord" (1 Corinthians 2:9)
I would use this money to pay for shipping my belongings, paying for my flight, purchasing new school scrubs and equipment, study supplies, household items, licensure exams, and many many textbooks. I also will joyfully take donations of any of these specific items in person. However, somethings are easier to buy online or in bulk. I am actively pursuing scholarships to cover my tuition in addition to financial aid. If anyone knows of scholarships that are offered through your job or foundations you my be associated with , I absolutely welcome that information as well!
The reality that so many people are celebrating and praising God with me has touched my heart so much. Last year I had gotten to a point where I stopped telling people that I wanted to be a physician because they would ask me have I started or completed school yet, and I would have to keep telling them "No, not yet". I felt a piece of myself was dying every time I had to say that. So to finally be in this place and to have people excited for me- as unbelievable as the circumstances may seem- I know that it is God and I see His goodness in each one of you celebrating with me!
I would be all the more grateful for those who are moved to donate to my school adventure! And to those who cannot I still love you and ask for your consistent prayer for provision and strength to do God's will and to hold on as He launches me forward!
