Chelsea's new laptop fund
Donation protected
Hello. I'm Chelsea's Mom. She is a young woman of very modest means who lost her retail job this past fall and is now starting a journey of vocational rehabilitation in 2017. Her very old windows laptop she bought when she was in college in 2010 is holding her back in life and in this journey. All of the funds will be used to buy her a laptop and technology such as ink and paper for the resumes and various forms she has to print. This would mean very much to a young woman who had a very roughh 2016. As further background, she was born at 2 lbs, overcame tremendous odds to live, she graduated from high school after a long journey on an IEP (Individualized Education Plan) and she overcame even greater odds and graduated college with a liberal arts degree with NO student loan debt by a combination of her earning scholarships, holding a job, contributing 1/3rd of the costs and her parents contributing the remaining 2/3rds. Now after a series of retail jobs, she has the opportunity to get some new vocational training. She is a very hard worker and is very modest in her lifestyle and is determined to have a brighter future. Any tiny contribution toward this laptop would be greatly appreciated in a young woman's life in a rough world for young women with special education challenges. These funds will be carefully and honestly managed for this modest goal and you by contributing you will greatly improve the life of a positive and hard working young woman in a tough world. Even the smallest donation toward this goal will make a difference. Thank you so much for considering this.
