Chess in Christian Schools
The Chess in Christian Schools Foundation provides funding and management for chess programs in Christian schools. We use your donations to pay for chess equipment (sets and clocks), instructional materials (workbooks and demonstration boards), chess tutors for the teams, access to on-line chess learning, trophies and plaques, and team shirts. NONE of your contribution is used to pay CICSF administrative costs.
First priority is given to schools that serve low-income neighborhoods. We are an IRS-certified tax-deductible corporation . Your donation is tax deductible!
Youngsters that compete in chess achieve significant improvement in their academic performance. Chess also teaches kids important life skills: critical thinking, patience, persistence, impulse control, and dealing emotionally with setbacks and difficult life situations.
